
Michael Kohn, MD, MPP
Dr. Kohn is an Emeritus Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at UCSF, a member of the Clinical & Translational Science Institute (CTSI), and one of the directors of the UCSF Training in Clinical Research (TICR) program. He has over 20 years of experience in designing observational studies, enhancing causal inference, and managing complex databases. Since 2016, he has served as the primary quantitative methods consultant to the UCSF Inpatient Diabetes Management Team and to the Diabetes Technology Society (DTS). His work with DTS has focused on blood glucose monitoring and metrics of glycemic control, leading to several publications examining the accuracy, efficacy, and clinical outcomes of advanced diabetes technologies in the non-pregnant adult population.
