Ms. Killion is a high-risk obstetric nurse coordinator in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at UCSF who provides inpatient and outpatient care to pregnant people with maternal, fetal, and obstetric complications. She is also a certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES) with over 20 years of experience supporting pregnant people with T1D. She has specific expertise in the use of advanced diabetes technology, given this clinical experience as well as her own lived experience as a person with T1D who uses an open-source automated insulin delivery (AID) system.
